An 8 week Mindfulness training 2 hours a week based on the MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) created by Eluned Gold, a leading and internationally known mindfulness teacher from the Universtiy of Bangor.

The training teaches mindfulness skills to parents/carers, paying attention to their own wellbeing in order to resource themselves and enhance parenting capacities.

Sometimes we become swamped by emotions that override our logical thought and ability to see alternative solution, the training aims to develop “parent in the moment” skills. It also offers an understanding of the basic brain functioning relevant to parenting.
